Video Production

I find myself performing a variety of roles depending on the size of the production. I worked for nearly a decade at Steelehouse Productions as an editor, shooter, and managing the postproduction tech.

Most frequently, I am a 1st AC (camera assistant) or camera operator on large commercial gigs and documentary productions. I’m generally hired directly by businesses or ad agencies to serve a range of clients, but also offer direct-to-client work.

I’ve fulfilled these production roles for clients including NASA, National Geographic, The Pioneer Woman, HBO, Kraft Foods, Purina, Hanson, Walmart, Remington, Bushnell, Hasbro, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and more.

It’s challenging to put together any sort of demo reel for this work. How can you tell if I was a good 1st AC by watching a reel? For camera operator work, it’s not unusual for the footage to straight to the client and I never see it again. Occasionally, I get to see the final result of some projects.
