A little more detail…

My attention to detail, adaptability, and work ethic have been my foundational advantages when approaching any task or challenge.
High school experience running camera and audio for events led to choosing a path in college attaining a degree in multimedia production. After receiving my degree I was hired by Steelehouse Productions as a shooter, and editor. For nearly a decade, my role evolved, grew, and was refined. I set up multiple systems and processes that helped the team rise to the next level. I gained experience shooting, editing, managing postproduction workflows.
I am currently a freelancer specializing in food and beverage photography and commercial film production.

Film

I’m available for hire as a 1st AC or camera operator.

I have over 15 years of experience in video production and postproduction. I’m familiar with camera platforms including RED, Arri, Sony, Z-Cam, Canon, and Blackmagic. I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects with clients both big and small, and I’ve fulfilled these production roles for clients including NASA, National Geographic, The Pioneer Woman, HBO, Kraft Foods, Purina, Hanson, Walmart, Remington, Bushnell, Hasbro, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and more.

I primarily work in commercial and documentary film productions.

Whether I’m camera assisting, shooting, or managing the tech and workflow of a project, I’ve always been adaptable in role and teachable in skill set to better serve the client.

Photo

Video has the luxury of incorporating movement of the subject and camera to captivate. A photo is a single frame with a brief opportunity to communicate.
My full photography portfolio covers a range of styles and genres. The two things I’m best at capturing are details and authentic moments. Food, drink, and commercial photography are my specialties. To view my dedicated food and beverage portfolio, head over to Humble Garnish Studios. I’ve worked with clients ranging from high-end restaurants and clubs like The Summit Club to clothing brands like Carhartt.

The Humble Garnish

An enthusiasm for food and drink along with a desire to share the experience with others led to the creation of The Humble Garnish.
Created with the founding principle that one can be particular without being pretentious, I’ve been sharing recipes and reviews since 2014. I’ve judged cocktails for the Philbrook MIX competition with Paul Clarke and David Wondrich. I was a finalist in the 2017 Mahon Gin cocktail competition. I’ve also been a food judge for the Philbrook’s 2018 Wine Experience. I am an official contributor to Drinkwire and The Tulsa Voice. I also created a collectible cocktail coin, The Cocktail Coin.

The Cocktail Coin

The Old Fashioned is one of the most respected cocktails of all the classics.

It is considered by most authorities to be the “first classic cocktail”, and predates both the Martini and the Manhattan. The Cocktail Coin is the first product launch connected to The Humble Garnish, and it was a collaboration with Invisible Element.
